The problem

Inclusion is often neglected as a leadership task. But leaders always set an example for the rest of the workforce. If leaders do not promote diversity and inclusion via their behavior, it probably doesn’t become reality. If not, Women in Tech & Digital are more hardly retained.

 

What can be done

Leadership to foster inclusion can be learned and practiced. Instances where leaders interact with staff or external actors are crucial for making a difference. With a coach the leader learns how to behave in these moments.

 

Results

Women in Tech & Digital working at the company as well as other employees start to believe what they see - inclusion becomes a part of the culture. This ensures easier recruitment of diverse backgrounds, a mixing of leadership crews as well as unlocking the full potential of teams.

Approach & Deliverables

Identify

Coach and leader determine the personal diversity mission and ideal behavior in high impact interactions. We deliver the personal mission and a guideline for planned behaviors.

Practice

The leader and the coach meet for a total of 30 hours in order to practice the planned behaviors. In personal as well as in public settings. They continuously improve behaviors on the way.

Measure

Impact of the new behavior on staff is measured. We also get feedback from the staff for more guidance. Results are presented under way as well as in an overall report at the end.
